We aim to keep the cost of a BER assessment as low as possible without compromising on quality of service. We achieve this through the implementation of efficient business and technical systems and our in-house quality assurance system ensures that we maintain the high level of service that our clients expect.
BER Silver Star Service
Our Silver Star Service is for property owners who just need a BER certificate and the standard advisory report. The Silver Star service is ideal for landlords or property sellers who need a certificate to comply with legislation but do not plan to upgrade their property to achieve a higher BER rating. It is also ideal for property owners who have implemented measures under SEAI's Better Energy Homes Scheme (BEHS) and who need a BER in order to claim the grant.
Prices for BER Silver Star Service Assessments
All prices shown are the price you pay and includes SEAI submission fee of €25 and VAT at the current rate. These prices are valid only for properties up to 2,250 sq feet (approx. 210 sq metres) and located within 50km of Carrick on Shannon. BER Gold Star Service
Our Gold Star Service is ideal for property owners who want to achieve the best BER rating that can be economically justified, or who simply want a more detailed advisory report so that they know what measures can be taken to best improve the rating of their property.
The Gold Star Service works in a similar way to the Silver Star Service, except that In addition to the standard advisory report we also provide a comprehensive advisory report which gives details of measures that could be taken to improve the energy efficiency and BER rating of the property. This can be particularly useful to property sellers who may not intend to make improvements themselves but who can make the report available to prospective buyers who can then see the potential improvement in the property's BER rating.
The additional cost of the Gold Star Service is €35 for apartments and €45 for houses.
BER Re-assessment Service
If a property owner makes changes to a property and needs a new BER certificate then a re-assessment will be required and a re-assessment fee is payable. The level of the fee is dependent on what changes have been made to the property, but will be less than the cost of the initial assessment. We can provide a quotation for your specific situation.
